Description

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Nrisimha Bharati Mahaswami, who graced the Throne of Transidental Wisdodm of the Sharada Peetham of Sringeri as the 33rd Acharya is considered as an avatar of Sri Shankaracharya.  Like the great acharya, Sri Adi Shankaracharya, composed many a stotra in praise of various Gods and Goddesses at various shrines throughout India. These were collectively published for the first time by M/s Vani Vilas Syndicate, Srirangam in a book entitled “श्रीभक्तिसुधातरङ्गिणी” (Sri Bhakti Sudha Tarangini), in circa 1913.

The present volume comprises of two audio Compact discs which are a compilation of 13 select stotras, from the aforementioned book,  set to tune in Carnatic ragas by Shenkotai Sri S.K.S. Harihara Subramaniyan and melodiously rendered by the Sringeri Sisters, Smt. Sharada Ramanan, Kum. T. Srilakshmi and Kum. S. Bharati.
