Jagadguru inaugurates Sringeri Ayurveda Dham

On June 4th, the Mahaswamiji inaugurated the new Sringeri Ayurveda Dham that houses the Vidya Bharati Health Care Ltd. The Dham is located about 20 km from Kalady Malayatoor in a sylvan setting along the banks of the Poorna river. Administrator and CEO of the Sringeri Sharada Peetham, Dr. V R Gowrishankar informed that the Dham shall be a place of stay and healthcare for those undertaking research in Ayurveda as well as for those undergoing treatment as per the ancient system of therapy. A temple for Lord Dhanvantari is also located in the Dham. Sri Muralidharan of the Peetham’s PNNM Ayurveda College, Shoranur was also present on the occasion.
