Jagadguru enters Tamil Nadu


 

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji started from Bangalore on the afternoon of 6th March 2012 and reached Krishnagiri in Tamil Nadu to a reverential welcome. In His Anugraha Bhashanam rendered in Tamil, the Jagadguru stressed that it is the duty of every man to reflect on his activities every day and examine if he had acted in accordance to Dharma. The residents of Krishnagiri witnessed the Jagadguru performing the Sharada Chandramoulishwara Puja with great joy. The Jagadguru graced the Shankara Math at Krishnagiri the following morning. Blessing the residents of Krishnagiri who offered Pada Puja and Bhiksha Vandana, the Jagadguru reached Salem in the evening to a tumultuous reception. The Jagadguru first had Darshan at the temple of Kannika Parameshwari and then reached the Sringeri Shankara Math at Agraharam Street. In His Anugraha Bhashanam, the Jagadguru expressed joy at the devotion of the people of Salem and performed the Sharada Chandramoulishwara Puja in the night.
