Later in the premises of Sri Durga Parameshwari Devasthanam, the Jagadguru opened a huge hall “Sri Bharati Tirtha Sabha Bhavana” by lighting a traditional Deepa. After the Dhuli Padapooja, the Jagadguru blessed the assembled devotees with a short Ashirvachanam. The Jagadguru commended the devotion of the citizens of Balpa towards the Sringeri Sri Sharada Peetham. Devotees looked upon the Peetham with the deep sense of attachment, that it is their Guru Peetham. The Jagadguru blessed all who had worked and contributed towards the cause of the construction of the Sabha Bhavana. In the night, the Jagadguru performed the Sharada Chandramoulishwara Pooja in the new Bhavana. The Jagadguru explained the significance of the Upadesha – सङ्गः सत्सु विधीयतां भगवतो भक्तिर्दृढाधीयताम् – Be in the company of Satpurushas and strengthen your Bhakti. At the end, the Jagadguru blessed one and all and mentioned that He had prayed to Amba Sri Durgaparameshwari to remove all the distress experienced by the villagers. The Jagadguru blessed specially Sri Karunakara Rao belle for making all the arrangements and also the Archaka Sri Srivatsava for his sincere devotion.
