The Jayanti of the 34th Acharya, Jagadguru Sri Chandrashekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji was observed on October 28, 2024.

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji offered homage to His Paramaguru at the Adhisthanam shrine in Narasimha Vanam at noon during the Mangala Aarati of the Shatarudra Abhisheka conducted by the Pandits and Vidyarthis of Sri Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapatashala. The Jagadguru also performed a special Puja at the shrine at night.

In the morning, the Vidyarthis and Pandits of the Pathashala assembled at the Adhistana Mandapam for a Sabha. The Sabha began with Veda Parayana and Guruvandanam – salutations to the Jagadgurus of Sringeri. This was followed by a couple of Vidyarthis recounting the divine life of the Jagadgurus. The Sabhas were presided over by the Pandits of Pathashala. The scholars narrated incidents from the lives of the Jagadgurus in Sanskrit and Kannada.
