Telecast of “Punitha-Bharatham” on Sankara TV

As per the directions of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam, Sri Vidyatheertha Foundation of Chennai for the second year in succession conducted a unique quiz programme, “Punitha Bharatham” on India’s culture and heritage for school students. The programmme was conducted this year at Trichy between 3rd October 2015 and 7th November 2015. It aims to inculcate moral, ethical and traditional values in students besides testing their knowledge in Indian culture and tradition. The programme was widely and enthusiastically received with participation from many schools in the region. All the rounds of the event will be telecast in a series of episodes on Sankara TV every Saturday and Sunday starting from the 23rd of January 2016 at 9:30 PM.
