The strong bond between Palani and the Sringeri Jagadguru’s stretches back to many centuries. In keeping with this time honoured tradition, the Jagadguru’s 2012 Vijaya Yatra halted at Palani on June 4.

In His Anugraha Bhashanam, the Jagadguru spoke of the glory of the incarnation of Lord Karthikeya and the essence of the Subrahmanya Bhujanga Stotram composed by Sri Adi Shankaracharya.

On the next day, the Jagadguru performed Puja at the Sri Dandayudhapani Swamy Temple.

An ideal disciple will indeed act as per the Guru’s instructions and not give place to thoughts as “Is it possible for me to do as he says?
