Brahmana Sabha of Kanakapura Taluk is a new branch of Karnataka Brahmana Maha sabha. Kanakapura Town which belongs to Ramanagara District is 56 kms away from Bangalore the capital city of Karnataka.

Functions

This branch has been serving the society on its own way by conducting several cultural, religious and social functions such as traditional ceremonies, Shankarajayanthi, Samashti Upanayanam, Religious speech, functions for re­warding talented persons etc.

New Math Premises

In addition to this Mahasabha, with the Blessings of His Holiness, foundation stone was laid for a new branch Matt of Sri Shankara Matt on 28th April 2005.  which consists of dining hall (Prasada Nilaya) Conference hall, house for Priest,sanctums Ganapathi, Sharada Devi and Shankaracharya guest house.
